Western North Carolina Crisis Relief

With the destruction that Hurricane Helene left in Western North Carolina, Capital Area Food Network (CAFN) wants to use its network to share resources on how you can help. We have gathered resources you can use to support those impacted. CAFN will continue to find resources to share on our website. Rafi Resources

  • The NC Inclusive Disaster Recovery Network (NCIDR) has developed a living document for organizations serving historically under-resourced and marginalized communities in NC:

  • Innovative Funding Partners has created a Grants Resource Guide that outlines opportunities to assist local organizations in WNC in identifying funding sources for disaster relief and recovery efforts.

  • RAFI has compiled a comprehensive list of relief resources tailored to farmers affected by the hurricanes.

  • RAFI has also started a Hurricane Farmer Relief Fund to support farmers throughout the Southeast U.S. who were impacted from the hurricanes.
